Figure, a humanoid robotics company, says it's made a "major breakthrough" in its own end-to-end research, instead of playing with OpenAI.
February 5, 2012 - Silicon Valley-based robotics startup Figure announced today via social media platform X that it is ending its partnership with AI giant OpenAI. The company claims to have made a major breakthrough in fully end-to-end robotic AI, developed entirely in-house. Company founder Brett Adcock didn't reveal technical details, but boasted that he would deliver an innovation that would "disrupt the humanoid robotics industry" within 30 days.
