Jan. 6, 2025 - According to the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), on Jan. 3, 2025, the China - Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRICS)AIThe opening ceremony of the operation base of the Center for Development and Cooperation (BRICS Center) was held at the West Coast Theater in Shanghai.
At the meeting, it was announced thatBRICS Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Cooperation Platform Goes Live, and at the same time launched the call and recruitment for the three core programs of the operation base:
- The first is an artificial intelligence exhibition on the theme of "Winning with BRICS, Leading the Future with Intelligence";
- The second is the BRICS Artificial Intelligence Training on "BRICS Intelligence - Shaping the Future Together";
- Thirdly, the "BRICS Think-Think-Without-Boundaries" BRICS Industrial Ecology Think Tank Network and Open Issues.
In the future, the operation base of the BRICS Center will extensively link the AI innovation and industrial resources of BRICS countries and even the world, and promote the interconnection of the global AI ecosystem.Aiming to become an important platform for China to carry out international cooperation on artificial intelligence for BRICS countries and the world at large.
At present, the initial version of the innovation and cooperation platform has been online in the New Year, and the functions of displaying the center's achievements and releasing authoritative information have been enabled.1AI learned from the official announcement that in June 2025, the platform will realize the function of industrial docking.Building a platform for artificial intelligence project cooperation and market demand matching among BRICS countriesIn addition, it promotes accurate docking between industry and academia, promotes technology transfer and industrial cooperation, and helps enterprises to go overseas.
