May 27, 2012 - Technology media outlet bleepingcomputer published a blog post today (May 27) reporting that OpenAI The company plans to release in 2026 a new product powered by ChatGPT driven new products.We hope to make ChatGPT a ubiquitous assistant in users' lives.
The media outlet revealed a December 2, 2024 document from Google's antitrust case in the U.S. showing the first half of 2025 release plans for OpenAI Inc.
The document states that ChatGPT is already integrated into users' lives in the form of websites, mobile and desktop apps, but OpenAI wants to take it a step further and envisions ChatGPT in a variety of scenarios.1AI has attached the relevant images below:

In daily life, ChatGPT can help users answer questions, play music, and recommend recipes; when out and about, ChatGPT can navigate routes, find the best restaurants, or help keep in touch with friends; and in office scenarios, ChatGPT can record notes from meetings and assist in preparing important presentations.
OpenAI emphasized that "the best AI is the AI that's with you at all times," hinting that they may be working on a hardware device that can run ChatGPT natively, allowing AI to be truly integrated into every aspect of a user's life.
OpenAI says it won't be available in 2025, but is aiming for that breakthrough in 2026, and to that end, the company has already begun preparations for it.
