June 18th.Adobe announced that its Firefly The generative AI app is now available on mobile platforms (note: available on iOS / Android, click here for iOS in the US), allowing users to generate images and videos in real-time using natural language prompts, as well as adapting to the app's built-in AI photo-editing tools for a range of tweaks to user photos.

Specifically, the app integrates Adobe's Text-to-Image, Text-to-Video, and Image-to-Video tools, and introduces Photoshop's Generative Fill and Generative Expand features. Generative Fill and Generative Expand features in Photoshop, and the ability to use third-party AI models from Google/OpenAI in addition to Adobe's first-party models to generate this content.
Adobe says users need to sign in to the app with a Creative Cloud cloud account to use it.Some AI features require the use of "Firefly Generated Points" and users need to subscribe to the appropriate plan to earn points.
Meanwhile, Adobe has also upgraded the public beta of its AI collaboration platform, Firefly Boards, to officially introduce video creation capabilities. Users can now upload video clips and edit them with AI models, or generate new videos based on them using Adobe's first-party Firefly video models or third-party models such as Google Veo 3.
