In Researcher, the user can choose to use either OpenAI 's deep reasoning model or Anthropic 's Claude Opus 4.1. Lamanna indicates: "The user can easily switch OpenAI and Anthropic models in Researcher after choosing to join."
In Copilot Studio, Claude Sonet 4 and Claude Opus 4.1 will also be optional models. Lamanna explains: “This update allows users toBuild, manage and coordinate smart bodies driven by Anthropic models, for in-depth reasoning, automated workflows and various flexible tasks.” In addition, users can mix different models according to mission needs, including Anthropic, OpenAI and other models in the Azure model directory。
