In Researcher, the user can choose to use either OpenAI 's deep reasoning model or Anthropic 's Claude Opus 4.1. Lamanna indicates: "The user can easily switch OpenAI and Anthropic models in Researcher after choosing to join."
In Copilot Studio, Claude Sonet 4 and Claude Opus 4.1 will also be optional models.
