Before, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman A long post entitled " Acumen Intelligence " was published in a personal blog, setting out a vision for the future of AI infrastructure。
Altman states that with the rapid development of AI services, access to AI will become a central driver of economic development and may even be seen as a “fundamental human right”。

In the post, Altman proposed an ambitious goal - to create a "workshop that can produce 1 new AI infrastructure per week"。
He noted that implementation of the plan would be extremely difficult and would require innovation at multiple levels, such as chips, electricity, buildings and robots, but he was convinced that that was possible。
Altman also cited, for example, that with 10 giva calculus, AI might be able to find a cure for cancer or provide personalized counselling for every student around the world。
HE STRESSED THAT THE EXPANSION OF COMPUTING POWER WOULD DIRECTLY DETERMINE THE POTENTIAL AND SCOPE OF AI APPLICATION。
In addition, Altman revealed that more details of partners and plans would be published in the coming months and that the financing programme would be presented later in the year。
In his view, this would be "the coolest and most important infrastructure project ever" and would like to build more capacity on American soil to cope with global competition。
