On September 25, at the 2024 Baidu Cloud Intelligence Conference, Baidu Intelligent Cloud comprehensively upgraded the two major AI infrastructures, Baige AI Heterogeneous Computing Platform 4.0 and Thousand Sails Large Model Platform 3.0, and upgraded the three major AI native application products, Code Assistant, Intelligent Customer Service, and Digital People, to help enterprises use large models faster, better, and more economically.
Shen Jie, executive vice president of Baidu Group and president of Baidu Intelligent Cloud Business Group, said that the big model, as well as the supporting arithmetic management platform, model and application development platform, are rapidly becoming the new one infrastructure. He said, "The industrial landing of big models in 2024 is accelerating. At present, on the Chifan big model platform, Wenshin's big models have a daily average call volume of more than 700 million times, and have cumulatively helped users fine-tune 30,000 big models and develop more than 700,000 enterprise-level applications. In the past year, Wenshin's flagship big model has reduced its price by more than 90%, and its main model is completely free of charge, minimizing the cost of trial and error for enterprise innovation.".
