OpenAI Robotics Program Recruiting or Self-Developed Sensors

On January 11, local time, Caitlin Kalinowski, director of OpenAI's hardware division, revealed on social media platforms that OpenAI will be developing robots equipped with customized sensors.Caitlin Kalinowski jumped to OpenAI from Meta's AR eyewear division in November of last year.In the post, Kalinowski highlights three positions on OpenAI's robotics team and the specifics of what they are responsible for, including electronic perception engineer, robotics mechanical design engineer, and technical program manager. Currently, OpenAI's official website has also been updated with these three job postings. According to the introduction, OpenAI's robotics team will focus on the development of "universal", "adaptive" and "multi-functional" robots, these robots can be in the "dynamic", "adaptive" and "multi-functional" robots. These robots can operate with human-like intelligence in "dynamic" "real-world" environments. To do this, the OpenAI team will develop its own sensors and computational components, which will be driven by OpenAI's own AI models. (SciTech Daily)
