Smart Spectrum Responds to Entity Listing by U.S. Department of Commerce

Recently, the U.S. issued the first global AI export restriction rule, which lists some countries and regions, including China, as Tier 3 countries and regions that will be banned from importing chips. On January 15, Wisdom AI, one of China's Six Little Dragons, was added to the U.S. Department of Commerce's latest list of export-controlled entities, and responded to the inclusion of Wisdom AI in the U.S. Department of Commerce's list of entities. Wiseplan said that the US Department of Commerce's decision lacks factual basis, and Wiseplan strongly opposes it. At the same time, Wiseplan also emphasized that in view of the fact that Wiseplan has mastered the core technology of the whole-link large model, being included in the list of entities will not have a substantial impact on the company's business. It is understood that the U.S. Department of Commerce will be included in the entity list of the reasons, because the wisdom of the spectrum through the development and integration of advanced artificial intelligence research to promote China's military modernization. While many Chinese companies have previously been included in the U.S. Entity List for this reason, Wisdom Spectrum AI is the first domestically produced large model company to be included.
