Apple announces $500 billion over the next four years in AI, chips and advanced manufacturing

Apple announced it will invest $500 billion in the U.S. over the next four years, the largest investment program in the company's history; plans to build an AI server factory in Texas and partner with Hon Hai Precision to assemble servers that will support Apple Intelligence; the investment will create about 20,000 R&D jobs in the U.S. while doubling the U.S. Advanced Manufacturing Fund to $10 billion to focus on R&D, chip engineering and AI.
