DeepMind patriarch startup AI programming: debut that is 130 million dollars in financing, Nvidia Sequoia grab investment

Two of Google's top DeepMind scientists have announced that they have teamed up to build superintelligent autonomous systems. The company is called Reflection AI, and it will start with autonomous programming, with two co-founders, Misha Laskin, a core Gemini leader who led Google's work on reinforcement learning and large-scale language modeling, and Ioannis Antonoglou, one of DeepMind's founding engineers and a key figure in projects such as AlphaGo, AlphaZero, and MuZero, AlphaZero and MuZero, among others.Reflection AI has now raised $130 million, with a recent valuation of $555 million (about Rs. 3,978 million).The $130 million funding round includes a $23 million seed round led by Sequoia and CRV, and a $105 million Series A round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and CRV led. Other investors in the public news include LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, SV Angel and the venture capital arm of Nvidia Corp, among others. (Quantum Bits)
