Humans are still ahead of AI in four major areas: emotional understanding and empathy, solving complex and ambiguous problems, interacting in the physical world, and original creativity. Humans and AI are complementary rather than opposites, and AI can usually only replace some subtasks, not entire skill sets or positions. Developing competencies in the aforementioned hard-to-attack areas of AI while learning to collaborate with AI is a key strategy for ensuring continued personal value.
