Wikipedia says it will embrace artificial intelligence, but won't replace human volunteers

Wikipedia on Wednesday unveiled a new artificial intelligence strategy for the next three years, saying it won't replace Wikipedia's editorial and volunteer communities with AI. Instead, Wikipedia said it will use AI to build new features that "remove technical barriers" and allow editors, moderators and patrollers to use tools to do what they need to do without having to worry about how to "technically make it happen."
