NVIDIA to release RTX 5060 on May 19 for $299

NVIDIA has announced that it will be releasing its $299 RTX 5060 graphics card on May 19th, along with the first laptops with the card (starting at $1,099), which the company says will be available to retail partners starting at 9 a.m. PT/noon ET. The company said the cards will be available at retail partners starting at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET. With 3,840 CUDA cores - nearly 800 fewer than NVIDIA's 5060 Ti, which was released last month - the RTX 5060 is the most basic of the RTX 50 series. But like the Ti version, the 5060 has GDDR7 memory, supports DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation, and comes with the latest ray tracing and tensor cores. The company says more game updates will support DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation before the 5060's release, including MechWarrior 5: Horde, which releases on May 7th, and New Worlds: Eternal, which releases on May 13th.
