Microsoft announced full support for the A2A protocol from Google to drive seamless collaboration among AI agents. a2a support will be introduced in Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio to help build complex and efficient multi-agent workflows. Microsoft will also participate in the A2A working group to work with the industry to improve the protocol. In addition, Copilot Studio already supports the MCP standard, and the industry is actively promoting shared AI protocols, so the AI agent market is expected to grow rapidly and become an important driver of enterprise digital transformation.
