Global Robotics Vision and Touch Fusion Challenge, Chinese Team Takes Three Golds and Brings New International Rankings

The first ManiSkill-ViTac 2025 Visual-Haptic Fusion Challenge concluded with 42 top teams from around the world competing, and Chinese companies took three gold medals, which will be reported at the ICRA 2025 Symposium; Dexmal, the Force Spirit Machine, won the gold medals for Pure Haptic Manipulation and Haptic Sensor Design, and improved the success rate by 2-3 times through the Dual-Paradigm Learning Framework, and Itshi Zhihang won the Gold Medal for Visual-Haptic Fusion Manipulation. The event is the first open competition that combines vision and haptics to promote the advancement of haptic-visual fusion algorithms and build a bridge for robots from the lab to real-world applications.
