Ruisong Chu, President of Amazon Cloud Technology Greater China: Agentic AI is on the Eve of Explosion

At the Amazon Cloud Technology China Summit, Ruisong Chu, President of Amazon Cloud Technology Greater China, said that we are on the eve of the Agentic AI explosion, and the explosion mainly stems from several factors: one, over the past two years or so, the development of large model capabilities has been rapidly changing, and has the ability to think like a human brain. Second, the emergence of the Model Context (MCP) protocol, which allows big model-driven intelligences to easily interact with the world around them. Third, Stanford University's AI 2025 report notes that the cost of reasoning has dropped by a factor of about 280 in the past two years. The extremely rapid reduction in the cost of reasoning makes it possible to deploy Agentic AI applications at scale. Fourth, the emergence of highly abstract, powerful, and flexible SDKs represented by Strands Agents has made it easy and simple to develop powerful Agentic AI systems.
