Microsoft touts cost savings from AI, says new product code for 35% generated by AI

In a presentation this week, Microsoft Chief Business Officer Judson Althoff said AI tools are improving efficiency in everything from sales and customer service to software engineering, according to people familiar with the matter.In call centers alone, AI saved Microsoft more than half a billion dollars last year and improved employee and customer satisfaction, Althoff said.AI also generated 35% of new product code, speeding up product release times.
