Tongyi Qianqian announced the official release of Qwen3-Coder, its most agentic code model to date. According to the report, Qwen3-Coder has multiple sizes, and Qwen3-Coder-480B-A35B-Instruct achieves the SOTA effect of the open-source model on Agentic Coding, Agentic Browser-Use and Agentic Tool-Use, which is comparable to Claude Sonnet4. At the same time, Tongyi Qianqian also launched and open-sourced Qwen Code, a command-line tool for agentic programming.
