According to CNBC, Paypal, an agreement was signed with OpenAI to embed its digital wallet in ChatGPT to enable the user to pay directly for the goods found through this leading consumer AI tool. This agreement, which was finalized last weekend, means that, starting next year, both sides of the PayPal ecosystem will have access to ChatGPT: PayPal users can buy goods through the AI platform, while merchants will be able to sell them on the platform, and their stocks will be included. PayPal CEO Alex Chris says, "We have hundreds of millions of faithful PayPal wallet users who will now be able to enjoy a safe and reliable closure experience by clicking on the ChatGPT button.
