Physical Intelligence Secures Funding to Develop "Brains" for Robots

Physical Intelligence recently closed a $70 million funding round from investors including OpenAI,Thrive CapitalPhysical Intelligence is comprised of robotics and artificial intelligence experts developing software that adds advanced intelligence to all types of robots and machines. The plan is to combine the technology used to build language models with its own machine control and guidance technology to create artificial intelligence for general-purpose robotic systems.
