OnePlus, OPPO to introduce Google Gemini models

Google confirmed at the Google Next conference that OnePlus and OPPO will bring the AI grand model Gemini to their devices in 2024.

It's been reported that OnePlus and OPPO will rely on Gemini to launch features like audio and news summaries, and an 'AI toolbox', though there's still relatively little information available.

The only information on the timeline so far is that the introduction of the Gemini will be realized "later this year".

One Plus and OPPO AI product manager Jun Zhang said that Google Cloud's open platform capabilities are of far-reaching significance to the advancement of OPPO AI phones.
