Shanghai AI Lab open source HOMIE system, through the robotic arm exoskeleton, motion-sensing gloves and three-axis foot pedals, to realize the humanoid robot 1:1 replica of human action; HOMIE uses reinforcement learning technology, introducing three innovations of upper body pose course learning, height tracking reward function and symmetry enhancement, to solve the remote operation problem of the humanoid robot; the system cost is only about 3500 RMB. The instruction acquisition speed is 200% faster than VR solution, the task completion time is shortened by 50%, and it supports a variety of complex mobile operation tasks.
