Meta Scheduled for release at the annual Connect conference in September, codenamed Hypernova new modelSmart glasses. These are the company's first consumer-oriented smart glasses with a display, which will be mounted on a suitable lens.

The glasses were developed by Meta in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica and are expected to cost around $800. The glasses are expected to debut alongside a wristband that allows you to control the glasses through gestures.
The Hypernova glasses are expected to have a limited display, providing a 20-degree field of view. It will primarily be used to deliver simple information, such as incoming text messages. The glasses will allow users to take and share photos and videos, make calls, send messages, listen to audio, and interact with the AI assistant via voice, display, or manual interaction.
In addition to the Hypernova and the wristband, Meta is expected to launch a third generation of voice-enabled smart glasses in partnership with Luxottica. The device will feature capacitive touch, allowing users to interact via touch gestures.
